Over-hyped, under-trained
Although this restaurant was described as one of the finer dining spot in Lethbridge, it fell far short of expectations. Upon arrival, the hostess promptly found a table for me and advised that my server would be available shortly. Promptly, you server arrived to take drink order. A simple Vodka Martini, straight up with a twist took the form of a cloudy mixture of ice, lime pulp, and vodka. The twist in the drink was one-eigthth of a lime. Please take heed - do not order the martinis. The kindest description of the martini can only be incompetent. The appetizer confused me given the initial experience. An order of Calamari was cooked perfectly, with the tiny rings tender and tasty. The tzadziki accompaniment was a delicious complement. Chef Ken Kain must be acknowledged for the calamari. The entree of linguini with mussels can only be described as okay. This is due to the pasta being somewhat underdone and short of al dente. There is a serious need for hospitality training in this mediochre eatery. Attention must be given to the following gaffes: a] staff changing clothes in the dining area in front of diners, b] worker in the open kitchen shouting across the restaurant to an employee at the front door, c] staff roudiness and loud laughter emanating from the back room behind the open swinging doors, d] although my visit to the restaurant occurred on a reasonably busy Saturday evening, the candles on the tables were not lit e] servers MUST be trained to place the diners courses in the proper position on the table. Wine (bottle, carafe and glass) must be placed within reach of the diner. Wine must be poured for the guest. There is no possibility of my return to this eatery.

A Real Treat
Treats Eatery is one of the best casual dining experiences to be had anywhere! The food never fails to please, the portions are generous, the prices very reasonable, and the atmosphere is warm and friendly. It's great in the winter to have a cosy meal next to the fireplace in the dining room, and in the summer to eat on the patio. The waitstaff is helpful without being intrusive, and the service is top notch. The Bluenote Bar has been recently renovated and is better than ever. It's a popular place to go in Lethbridge for happy hour.

An overlooked gem
The service isn't great (not a lot of English spoken) but the food is fantastic! Spicy dishes live up to their name, the selection is vast and their spring rolls are second to none. Dishes are numbered for those who don't speak Vietnamese. My friends and I eat at the Saigonese at least once a month and always look forward to it.

Awsome Vietamese Cuisine!
If you want authentic Vietamese food, come here! They have (I think) the best spring rolls in Alberta! I recommend this place to everyone I know, and they have all gotten addicted! All the dishes come with rice/rice noodles and a few of the soups have yellow (egg) noodles, so safe for those with allergies. I recommend any spicy dishes (it says spicy on the menu), especially the curry. And of course, spring rolls!

Best in Town
Best restaurant in town! We've been there every time we came over from Holland, it's our favourite. We came over 4 times and visited them way over 20 times already, and are looking forward to our next visit. Great service, they even knew who we were one year later!

I Didn't Order This.
It's a shame when a manager can't get the order right while taking it in drive thru. How hard is it to correctly order 2 bagels with sausage and cheese (and only that on them)? And how hard it is to correctly order 2 of those disgusting sausage (only sausage) McGriddles? The only thing this manager got right in our order was the large Coke. Their service sucks. Would be better off telling them that you'd punch the order in their till yourself. At least then you'd get it your way.
