Overall a good restaurant
I've always loved Earl's food - interesting and of good quality. However, every time I go, the prices seem to have gone up; at this rate, I won't be able to afford to return.

Great Place
This is a one a of a kind find; great British food, awesome live music on the weekends and a relaxed atmosphere make this our favourite hang-out. Best Halibut and chips ever. Best hamburgers in town (cheap!) I would love to live close so we could go more often.

What happened
I was in a few years ago and what a great place. We had our high school reunion there and it couldn't have been better. I went back there last week and holy crap. The Yorkshire pudding was like chewing into an old leather shoe. The chips were greasy and the batter on the fish was thick and only partially cooked. I would comment on the service if there was any. I waited at least 45 minutes for a "lousy" pint of beer and it wasn't even busy. Not even half full. Somebody shoot me if I ever go back. What happened to the old band? The new band is pretty godd but they lack entertainment skills. Don't they know how to talk to the audience?

Slow and nasty
Tried it one more time. This is no hidden jewel, but it should be hidden -out of sight. Very expensive but limited range of British beers coupled with poor service and cold greasy food made this a night to forget. The band was overly loud and lacked personality. The place would be better with a jukebox. This is a restaurant trying to be a British pub and failing miserably. Nasty-just nasty.

Best live music around, Thursday to Sunday - regular lineup of very talented musicians, famous guest musicians and great tunes. New menu with all tastes and types of food - much healthier choices as well as old standbys. Don't miss Sunday Blues night!

This restaurant has changed hands and has gone downhill fast. The food and service are poor and the great British band is gone. Not worth crossing the street for.

Best fish and chips for miles
This is one of those little places just the locals seem to know about. They don't advertise and nor do they need to! Great fish and the best chips in B.C. Tasty British dishes and super service define this place. On Fridays and Saturdays if you can get a table after 8pm Dave and his merry band come on to perform some familiar classic songs that the old and young will enjoy. All in all the best fish and chips in the Valley, great mushy peas too. One note for Dave and crew though, please get some air conditioning.

Consistency, Please!
Sometimes good, sometimes not. They need to be more consistent. For example, sometimes their Italiana salad rocks and sometimes is blah. They also have problems getting fresh big prawns, and I have had them be bad.

Drive Through or Sit Through?
Hi -- I love Tim Hortons. We drive through every day, 7 days a week 3-4 times a day. We spend a lot of money just going through the drive through, however I can honestly say that the service level at the Tim Hortons in Abbotsford, BC on South Fraser way is unacceptable. Seems as though there is only one person on the window on the night shift early morning. I see this poor woman running herself ragged trying to keep up with the drive through with no help at all. You should be proud of this woman giving 110 % of herself to your company, but it's not right. There are way too many people waiting in line and getting upset with this woman. There need to be more people hired for night shift at this location. And that poor woman deserves a raise. I see her each night struggling the same way -- I don't know how she does it, but its not fair to her or the customers. [..]

Consistently screw up my order every time I'm in there. Unfortunately, there isn't a huge choice for vegetarian food in the food court for this picky eater so I keep giving them another chance.
