Our server was very personable and the experience was great. For an appetizer I had calamari. It was the best calamari I had ever tasted. For dinner I tried the Ribs with Spaghetti and it was quite delicious. Best ribs I've had in my life. My sister's pizza was wickedly awesome as well! The next time I'm in town I will for sure go there again. And our waitress was very knowledgable and friendly! The menu is varied with many selections from salads through roast beef and delicious seafood. The Rip Tide is a big place with lots of seating and an upper balcony with a couple of pool tables. A fun place in the summer with all the locals and the tourists. I found the service at Ricky's restaurant in Campbell River to be exceptional. The servers were prompt, professional and very friendly. The staff makes you feel like part of the family. The food is exactly like I expected to be, there were no surprises. My food was delivered in a timely fashion, as described in the menu and orders were prepared to my liking. I have eaten at the Ricky's (Campbell River) on several occasions and the meals were very consistant. The restaurant caters to families. The dining area is pleasant and clean. The washrooms were clean and fully servicable.
