underwhelmed
Sorry, but having heard this place raved about by a couple of people, I was underwhelmed by my meal there. The decor was lovely, although I wouldn't recommend anyone bring children there or anyone if they tend to wander, that bread bar there is low and wide open for curious hands to get burned on. I guess I just expected more from an Italian restaurant with approx. $20 pasta dishes. Alot of stuff was baked with cheese, there was no risotto main on the menu (or as an appetizer I don't think), nor an eggplant parm main, very few meatless options etc. I would have preferred a nice crusty italian bread on the table to the bread bar (which had a messy set up IMO, plastic bags of bread alongside the bar). Many of the dishes seemed to have chicken. I had hoped for a risotto but in the absence, ordered the coquilles st. jacques and this came out baked and smothered in cheese. At first I didn't even know I'd gotten scallops as they were mangled, chopped and way overcooked, i'd thought i'd gotten haddock or something by mistake. It came with a side of pesto spaghetti that wasn't the best i've ever had, as well as a small salad, which did have a nice dressing. Service was good, as was the wine...we didnt' have to wait for bills, i liked the debit at table option. Skipped dessert. It wasn't a bad experience, and perhaps they have better dishes, but i'm not anxious to return.

Awful
It is not a good sign when you walk in a restaurant and your feet stick to the floor. Next you are greeted by this huge dirty fish tank with very large fish in it. We should have turned around then. We waited for the hostess and when she finally arrived pointed to a table and said you can sit over there. There are two large tables of main course items and a large desert table. The quality of the food was disgusting, easily the worst Chinese food we have ever had. It tasted stale, greasy and luke warm at best and left a bad taste in your mouth. We ate about a half a plate and couldn't stand to eat any more. Lily Chinese Cuisine is an awful restaurant, I would encourage to look elsewhere in the Moncton area.

Average Place
The special foods change too often, and the cook as well since you can see the kitchen. Nothing really spectacular.

I didn't like there bruchetta but there pasta is good and if you take the big portion you can have all you can it bread ( really good) with salad or soup. But the atmosphere is loud.

Not what I expected from Vito's
Upon taking our order, the waitress was polite and joking with us. There were 4 in our party the night of Aug 17/08. She brought back our drinks and then I think she forgot about us altogether. Another waitress brought our rolls. Our waitress never returned to check on our drinks to see if we wanted another or a refill. Even the waitress who brought our rolls didn't ask if we wanted a refill. When our food was ready a third waitress came to our table to tell us that my order was taken by someone else and it would be 5 minutes before my order was ready. She offered a free salad while I was waiting, so I said sure, (not that I wanted a salad, but why not if it's free). I expected that the salad would come immediately so I would be eating with my friends. However, the salad only came when my actual order came and guess what, it was our waitress who delivered it, I guess she didn't get lost. She said they forgot to place my order but here is it now. She still did not ask to refill our drinks. She just dropped my food and left. It seemed like forever before she returned with our bills and when we asked her for a take out container. We thought she was out back making one because she took much longer than it should. We stood up and was about to leave when we seen her coming however, she was stopped by another waitress in the hall way to discuss something which must have been more important than waiting on her customers because they talked for at least 5-10 minutes before she came with the take out container. As for the food, it was good once it came but mine was not hot, and very, very, very poor service from our waitress and the restaurant. Will I visit this restaurant again, not for a very long time and probably never. Darlene Wilkins, Pine Glen, NB

Food unacceptable
I went to St Hubert for the very first time while I was attending an event in Moncton. I was impressed with the chicken breast I had and was actually enjoying my veggies and salad when I found a small green worm on my plate. When asking the waitress what was on my plate she took off with it to the kitchen and a few minutes later her supervisor came over and offered me $10.00 in gift certificates. I appreciate the gesture however 10 bucks is insulting when a person finds a worm in their food. They made all kinds of excuses for it saying they don't bag their own veggies and salads instead of accepting responsibility for it. I have never been back and probably never will be.

Where were the chicken fillets and bread?
My first experience at your restaurant was disappointing. We were a group of approximately 15 people. Your menu is deceiving in that you profess to sell chicken "fillets" with the ribs, when in fact they were chicken fingers. Changing the name did We were under the impression that in addition to the "free of charge" colelsaws that bread was also provided. What one of our friends received, upon requesting the bread, was toasted hamburged buns? There was not any explanation or apology from the waitress? You have lost 15 "would have returned" clients.

a tasty and cozy little place
I've been here a few times and they have renovated and changed a little since the last time i was here, today i had the Ship a hoy platter,(seafood platter) and it was by far the best one i've had arounfd these parts in a while, the service was great, the beer was cold, the food was hot and tasty and the value for $ was really reasonable, i would definetely recommend anyone try this little seafood joint out.

A great dinning experiance
The atmosphere is wonderful, a perfect place for any special occasion. The food is always good and the service is great. the wine list is comprehensive and the staff knowlageble. I always look forward to an oppertunity to dine there and when we have clients in town it is always where we take them. Impressive.

Very Dirty but great bang for you buck!
The floor, fish tank and table were really dirty. But the food was pretty good. If your the type of person that enjoys quantity over quality this is the place for you! The service I must say is impecable the waitresses are super friendly. I was disapointed with the deserts the tasted all the same. :(

They have great steak and breakfast at amazing prices that you cant get anywhere else. Plus the atmosphere is great. Its a really good place to go and enjoy yourself. I dont go much, but when I do it's been awesome.

Yes, bad location so just deliver. If you want great pizza, some of the best garlic cheese fingers I ever had, and a place that is open later than most places on most days, this is your place.

2 Hours to make Nacho's?
When I go I find it takes them forever to get your food. One time, there was only 3 tables of customers and it took 2 hours to get all of our food at our table. I was starving when I got there, so by the time the food came I was too sick to eat. The most complicated thing we ordered was some chicken breast sandwhich dish. The food itself is good, prices are OK, atmosphere good. Just slow.
