Excellent!
We had one of the best Italian dinners here! The atmosphere is cosy and not rushed but more than that, the food was wonderful! Our table enjoyed fresh made brusscheta, salad, lasagna, seafood pasta, veal and chicken. We will recommend this restaurant to everyone!

Brantford's Best Kept Secret
It seems these days, "Italian" places are popping up everywhere, and I say "Italian" in quotes because the majority of them seem to be run by any ethnicity other than Italian people. What gets lost is the true Italian flavour of authentic recipies, prepared by those who have roots in the culture. Tavolini boasts "Old World Italian Cuisine" which is completely the taste I'm looking for when it comes to Italian dining. The atmosphere was pleasant and quaint, which reminded me of a serene cafe I used to frequent in Castelli. I was delighted to find that even our server was Italian as well, which added to the experience. The true test of course was in the food, and I was not disappointed. Ample portions were served and true to their promise, it was genuine Italian. From the obvious taste of the home made pasta, right down to the detail of hand forked edges, my ravioli dish was delightful. I've been to many Italian places in North America, but very few pay attention to the detail that you'll find at Tavolini. Semplicemente stupendo!

We've been dining at Speekezzies for years now - definitely somewhere different and fantastic to go to instead of the usual "chain" restaurants. The food is always top quality, awesome features and the Chef is always consistant with dish taste. The staff are outgoing and will always cater to special needs. So far the pricing is better with bigger portions than the other restaurants in their category. Great job and we will continue to go there.

We went to Speekezzies for the first time last week and will certainly return!! Friendly staff, great food, and a very cozy romantic atmosphere. It has a great wine selection, too. The exterior of the restaurant doesn't reflect what's inside. The owner should add a classy round awning above the doorway. Otherwise, it's easy to pass up as a regular "hole-in-the-wall", alongside the other establishments nearby. Just a hint. Otherwise, we're impressed!!

Great Place For Dinner.
Great food in an untradional setting. Bright, open, california style restaurant. Chef/Owner's Mom makes the gnocci. The stone hearth thin crust pizza is great.

We are regulars at Speekezzies - staff are excellent and always make us feel at home. The food is always consistant and full of flavour - portion size and assortment excellent. Chef very accommodating to special requests and pricing is excellent!

I have been eating there for several years when traveling on business from Cincinnati, Ohio. Owner and staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. The food is incredible and the menu selection is fresh and very appetizing. The bar and wine selection is plentiful. Don't forget to try a hearth-baked pizza! The overall dining experience is outstanding.

A great food experience.
We've been fairly regular customers at Speekezzies since it opened the food is very good - a good dose of funky with some traditional choices to please every person. The pastas and pizzas are our favourites but the lamb and steak choices are also wonderful. It is a casual ambience, okay for well mannered children, but with enough sophistication to make it a great choice for an evening celebration with your special someone. The staff are very friendly, particularly the chef who most nights comes out to great the customers.

Great Pub!
This pub was fantastic. My Dad and I had several pints of Guinness here. The service was great. The barman even ran after us when I accidentally left my sweater there. Not sure about the food, we didn't have any. The atmosphere was relaxed and the pub was everything a pub ought to be. Kind of dark, but very clean and really relaxing.

Simply the Best
If you are looking for authentic, home made pizza or ravioli made with fresh ingredients and REAL cheese, get to Maria's. This has been our pizza place for 35 years, the recipe is an original from Maria herself,and passed on to her daughter. It hasn't changed and it is simply the BEST. No 2 for 1's or other gimmicks, just great food. Take out only.

These guys know pizza. They blow away the chains for authentic crust, sauce, and overall flavor and make your pie to suit your own taste. Panzerottis are packed with toppings. Delivery is prompt and the price is well worth it.

4 guests 3 crappy meals, 1 not too bad. Slow service even though the place was empty but friendly enough. Cute decorations but an odd shaped restaurant. The air conditioning was weak and we felt hot and sweaty throughout the meal. Not worth the money

Panzerottis Are The Best.
If you get a large it's about the size of a professional football. It's delicious and a treat for any day of the week (Except Mondays when it's closed). I recommend getting as much cheese in it as possible and mushrooms, pineapple and ham. YUM YUM.
