Great fish.
It's a small shop with a small parking lot and no real seating, but it's always packed with people picking up fish orders. The fish is always good, crispy, fresh, and hot--the fries are hit and miss sometimes. You get a spectacular amount of food for the cost; but the service is always quick and friendly. We go there often to pick up fish for lunch to take out to Blockhouse; or for friends--never been disappointed with the food in the many times we've been there. (20+ times over the years) Highly recommended.

Awesome Place

The Best Souvlaki Around.
That take-out place that I had a hard time finding had some of the best souvlaki I've had in Canada. Not to mention this sub they had. I travel to Canada every 4 months from Sweden and stay in Brockville for a week, and all I can say is that I've had souvlaki in Greece and theirs was the closest to the original as it gets.

Real Chinese Food
The nice thing about the New York Restarant is that it's not the same 'Canadianized' version of Chinese food. Their General Tso's Chicken is to die for, their Hot and sour soup is unreal, and they make their own almond cookies. Top notch food and reasonable service.

Homemade Eggrolls Are Fantastic!
Overall, a better than average Chinese restaurant but the egg rolls are absolutely phenomenal. Meaty filling with a light, crisp exterior make these amongst the best I've ever had. I sometimes take out four and eat them for dinner. They stand on their own as a meal.

I had always enjoyed eating the Brockberry Cafe since it was established. Last night we attended a gathering of neighbours to celebrate a move from Brockville. We were 13 people in all and were spending a good deal of money. The waiter was atrocious. Meals went undelivered. A request for more rolls was responded to as "we only make them fresh and there are not enough". Well, the restaurant was not overly full for a Wednesday night and I am sure the kitchen could accommodated a few more rolls. Not to mention the fact that there were not enough rolls for even one per person. When it came time for the cake (which we have provided) the waiter did not bring plates or forks or even knife to cut it. When requested he said he would cut it and serve. He neglected that he would be charging $10.00 for this service. Coffee was hard to come by and we ended up helping ourselves as he was nowhere to be found. He then went around the table asking who had coffee that was not served by him so he could add it to our bills. What should have been a very enjoyable evening turned very sour with his antics. I would not recommend eating there if he is your server.

Best Italian Food in Brockville,
They are usually lined up to the door on a Friday night. Best pizza and pasta in town. The souvlaki is great too. Good service and good prices.

This is one of the best restaurants in Brockville. Their Greek food is amazing and you can't find a better pizza. Try the Greek or 1000 Islands special. The owners are great and the service is great too.
