Sushi rice too warm and no free tea
I tried the a la carte at dinner and it has dinner box available. But tea is not free and the dessert in the dinner box is one of those chinese buffet square cake. Totally ruin the Japanese feel. I then tried the all-you-can-eat lunch buffet the week after and again, no free drink, no free japanese tea. Overall, the food was ok. The chicken don (rice) was particularly good. But the sushi rice was too warm and it was weird to eat it with the cold fish on top. I doubt it is up to par with the hygiene standards. I argued with the shop owner why they didn\'t serve free hot tea. It was hard to imagine a genuine japanese restaurant won\'t serve free tea, let alone an All-you-can-eat meal. Of course, they are not Japanese. I told her if they don\'t serve tea, people could order more miso soup or seafood soup instead, which will cost more than tea. Guess how she answered, well...people will order coke instead. Duh...i want hot drink, if I like coke, i can go with cold tap water.

I recommend the Tasting plates to start- shrimp pot stickers and calamari... I had the swordfish Special and WOW!!

Set the Bar high for other restaurants in kingston
The flavors that come out of the dishes is like nothing I've ever tasted...I'm glad Kingston is catching up... Thank you

A worldly of ingredients right here in Kingston
I must say and this will be my 1st review..I've never had food quite as Enjoyable as at Aroma on Ontario Street...The imagination that was put into each dish is far beyond mine..I highly recommend this restaurant and the fact that it is owned by two wonderful people that were humbled by my compliments make it more the worth while. I want to thank my Server and sue and Gurkon for a Wonderful experience to say the least.

Good for the taters
It's greasy but tasty. I wouldn't eat fast food more than once a month but the taters are awesome and it reminds me of back home on the Rock. Apparently the chicken fingers with the taters are the way to go. When I make my annual trip next year I'll try to remember that. I never understood why KFC and Mary Brown's don't spend more effort trying to make their restaurants more appealing. They kind of look like a 70's cafeteria.

Great Food and Atmosphere
I went to the Grizzly Grill about a month ago. The restaurant is very nice inside. It reminded me of being in an upscale chalet. I ordered chicken, but i hear that steak is their specialty. The food and prices were great, but the waitress wasn't. I asked for a bottle of Chardonnay and she brought me a bottle of red..? Then she forgot to punch in our appetizer and the food came. When we mentioned the appetizer she said it was coming to cover up for her mistake. 30 minutes later we got our appetizer..after we had already eaten the main course. We then ordered ice cream for dessert and waited another 20 minutes. So other than the server, I had a good experience at the restaurant. I hear that the service is usually not a problem, so give it a try!
