Closed?
Getting reports that Angelina's has closed its doors. Much speculation that the Preston Street sewer work was its demise...any truths? Hopefully they have only moved...

Great Food
We went to Angelina's just before new years eve and it was a great evening. The service and food was excellent. The pizza is like no other in town. Would recommend this restaurant to all.

Best food and best customer services
The food was amazing at Angelina's and the service was top! The calamari which was highly recomended, was indeed the best I have had! I definetly suggest anyone order this as an appetizer.
The pizza and the pasta that we ordered was amazing, and the portion sizes are amazing for the price.
2 people can have an appetizer, food and dessert for an easy 50-60.00, which is fantastic!
The atmosphere was cozy, and we didn't notice that we were there for 3 hours! Looking forward to returning!

Nice little restaurant
We tried Angelina's last week end after reading reviews (I was desperately looking for good Italian pizza). The place was nice and quiet with only one server working. She seemed a bit overwhelmed although she obviously knew what she was doing - she kept apologizing for everything even though there was absolutely nothing wrong. The botchy service kinda clashed with the otherwise fancy / romantic restaurant. But I'm not one to care too much about service when the food is good...and good it was.
We ordered the fried calamary (since many people recommended it) and I have to say I was a little disapointed by my chewy ap. It was definitely not the best in the city (the award goes to Lapointe in the market). The pizza, though, was really good. There weren't too many exciting options (especially for vegetarians) but the basic stuff was good (dough, sauce, cheese). I wouldn't recommend the chicken and pesto but I will definitely go back to try a different variety. The pizza is huge with plenty left for a solid lunch or supper the day after. A bit expensive.

This is real Italian pizza and pasta!
I was at Angelina's on Friday, the place was really busy. We ordered Calamari, best calamari ever. We also had a plate of pasta and a pizza. The pasta was delicious, the sauce has to be homemade and the pizza really was good. I'll be back for sure. The prices really good for the food you get. This is a gem in little Italy.

Johnny.

I was very disappointed in this restaurant, especially after hearing all the good things about it from friends and from this forum. The pizza was lacklustre, too floury and the toppings were less than exciting. None of the ingredients stood out, which is an indication to me that they were not fresh. The decor is nice, prices reasonable, but for my money, I'll head to Piccolino's in the future.

Really good Pizza
It's odd, I live right off Preston St and would rather order Domino's rather than the "traditional" stuff available in the area. But no more. This place has great pizza. Fresh and great.

You can see into the kitchen and everything looks fresh and clean. Friendly and affordable. I really liked this place, reminds me of a corner joint in a nice Brooklyn neighborhood and that is saying a lot!!!

Will recommend and repeat!

True Italian pizza. That's Amore!

Finally a taste of real Italian pizza. The ingredients taste fresh and the sauce is very tasty. This pizza melts in your mouth.
Not to be outdone by the pizza is the calamari. Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Not sure what they put on them but they are delicious.
A friend of mine had a pasta dish which I did not try but he was very pleased.
I will definitely return.

They make a mighty fine Pizza!!!!!
I went to this place over this past weekend and what a pleasent surprise. To begin with I thought it was run by the owners of La Pergola (which really started to go downhill) but this simply isn't the case. The pizza was homemade, fresh and delicious. The toppings were very tastey. One of the tests of a wood burning oven, thin crust pizza is the dough as it tends to get soggy. Well, not this pizza. Delicious!!!!!!
