Another good meal
Fresh French bread, excellent caesar salad minus the bacon bits the way it should be, spaghetti ambrosia with goat cheese, good salmon, also fresh mussels in a beer sauce. This place is not beautiful but consistently offers fresh home made Italian food at reasonable prices. A gem on rue Principle in Aylmer, always busy. Also has an extensive wine list.

Great taste
My wife and I went to that restaurant to celebrate our friend's birthday last Friday. We were there with a few friends. I've had spiral pasta with mushrooms, pancetta and rose sauce. My dish tasted good, but a little bit too salty. My wife had a gnocchi genovese, which was a mix of potato dumplings and pesto cream. She liked it a lot! For dessert, I've had a chocolate crème brûlée. Delicious!

Our server was great but he wasn't at our table as frequently because he was running around. There were a lot of people gathering there! At the end, the restaurant atmosphere was too noisy but I guess that it's out of their control! I will definitely go back!

The Only Dinner Place Really Worth a Visit in Aylmer
Excellent Italian food, good prices, including their 3 cover courses which regularly change, between $25-35. Good wine by the glass, good service, my preferred, if not only restaurant for dinning in Aylmer! Try their gnocchis sauce rosée with 3 cheeses!

Forget Preston Street!
If you like good, authentic, modern Italian cuisine at a fair price, then this is your place.
The restaurant is unpretentious, and the owner is in the kitchen - usually a sign that the food will be good, and boy is it ever. The food is consistent (a big one for me), fresh, portions are generous and you get what you asked for. You like your salmon slighly undercooked? It will be. You like your steak medium rare? It will be. The veggies, served with most meat or fish entrees are DELICIOUS! They are cooked to perfection, with a bit of butter, to die for... and the ratatouille they serve with each meat dish is savoury and delicious as well.
They always have specials that change up the menu a bit with interesting but delicious combinations.
The decor is ok, could be more contemporary as it doesn't match the food, but still very appropriate. At times a weird mix of customers (especially at the bar) but I guess it's one of the things that make this place interesting.
Definitely one of my very favorite restaurants in all of Ottawa-Gatineau region.
A must-try experience (if you like Italian).
