The sirloin burger absolutely sucks
The problem is that nothing else is outstanding (well, more outstanding than McD's, Burger King, etc)

Harvey's Angus Burger, however, is very good. You can get one on Innes and ask for Chalet fries. :)

If you order chicken here it is very greasy. The bun will be soaked through. A&W is a lot more expensive now, I work in the mall and the prices seem to go up t least once a month. For a Whistle dog it is now 4.29. 3 months ago it was 3.19, what a rip off!

Since the "forums" feature is unavailable, I guess this has turned into a forum on A&W.

I too have fond melories of A&W drive in restaurants. My earliest recollection was the A&W in Plattsburgh NY near the city beach in the sixties, later on The A&W on Decarie Blvd in Montreal. The burger family appeared a bit later on. These shops were pre-McDonalds era. The Teenburger, bacon and all was the perenial favorite.

Great (117.46)

I love the big "Grand-Pa" burger, the big honkin' three patty job.
Ironically, I don't think too many grandpas could actually eat that sucker.

The usual fast food stuff. It's been a while since I've been here. New burger names and combo deals, but really expensive for what you get. I used to get a teen burger combo for a heck of a lot cheaper than 6.49 or whatever. Anyway I look at it, it's really pricey. Not a huge fan of the fries, so I usually sub out for onion rings (really good) and that pushes the price over 8 bucks. For 2, I can go to Lonestar and split a fajita combo and walk away not feeling ill.

Burgers look smaller than what I remember - still hungry after eating. Uniforms look very retro - 50s or 60s. Why make your employees look so dorkey and dated?

New mall looks great - nice seating.
